Campaign Story

Dear Gift of Parenthood Selection Committee,

We are Savannah and Dylan Blue, a loving couple from Kentucky, writing to humbly request your consideration for a fertility grant to help us grow our family.

Our journey to conceive has been deeply emotional and challenging. After experiencing a heartbreaking miscarriage in May 2024, our family — including our three children from previous relationships (ages 8, 11, and 15) — has been devastated. That loss deeply impacted all of us, especially because we had so much hope and love for the child we were preparing to welcome. More than anything, we would love to complete our blended family with a baby together.

Shortly after the miscarriage, I (Savannah) was diagnosed with extremely diminished ovarian reserve, low AMH, and high FSH, making natural conception nearly impossible. Our doctor informed us that IVF with multiple cycles is likely our only path to parenthood. While we are determined to pursue this journey, the financial burden is overwhelming and has taken a toll on both our finances and our relationship.

We are doing everything we can to build the family we dream of, but the high cost of treatment has made it difficult to move forward. Between clinic consultations, fertility medications, and the cost of multiple IVF cycles, we find ourselves at a crossroads. Our children often ask about having a sibling together, and we want so badly to make that dream a reality — not just for us, but for them.

We are applying for this grant because it represents more than just financial support — it represents hope. We are ready to give our future child a life full of love, laughter, and support, surrounded by siblings who are already eager to welcome them into our lives.
